[BUG] Turning off notifications under settings doesn't work.

I have all notifications turned off for comments, replies, forum reputations, etc. but I still receive notifications for them. Has been going on for a while now. I made a forum post 11 months ago, but I don't believe anyone saw it.

As evidenced by getting notifications for some users and not others, and reported by myself years ago now, it looks like the notifications use the setting for the user the notification is about instead of the user receiving them. (If this is indeed true, you should not have received a notification for this reply, but let me know if you did.)

You are correct, I didn't get a notification. Decided to check my post just in case. As much as I enjoy using Fakku seeing as it's pretty much the only legal way to read uncensored translated comics from magazines, the little bugs we have here are annoying to say the least. Doubt we'll ever see a fix for the Favorites bug.

I can also confirm that I did not get a notification for your quote despite having these turned on. Another point for my suspicions.
