Change file host from Fileserve
0
With how much the Fakku file links go up and down, I try to always use the file host site links, but I cannot do this anymore as Fileserve seems to be the new host of choice, and doesn't play nice with Chrome for some mysterious reason. (Not extension related, have turned them all off to test) It causes all links on the page to simply become anchors to the top of the page, and won't actually do anything, forcing me to either forego the file or bring the page up in Internet Explorer, which I would frankly rather not do.

File serve is just a crappy hoster.
Megupload or, better Mediafire are the best for little doujinshi like the most part of Fakku!

Then how else will I pay for servers and translators? Things are not free in this world. Necessary evil to keep things going. I don't really have a choice in the matter.
Come up with this solution and then we will talk.
Also your anchoring problem is mostly caused by some sort of ad blocker. Similar thing happened to me and all I had to do was not block ads on their site.

I tottaly agree with you.
Than, Filesonic isn't good? I think it's better than Fileserve (they didn't ban premium accounts ;) )

Personally downloading from I have found fileserve to be a rather decent host. I always get about 600KB/s which I feel is more than enough for the normal user. It's stable too meaning unlike megaupload or other hosters it doesn't become incredibly slow when there is much demand for the file.
Considering what must be done I still feel as if this is the wisest choice in the matter.

I don't think that speed is very important when you download archives of doujinshi. But, when it's comes to your releases (which is great btw ;) ), it is. A file who is 12MB big is not the same thant a 400+MB release ;) When the file is small, the wait time is the most important ;)

The upload host rules doesn't apply to translators and subbers, since they need money to keep on working.

I don't even have AdBlocker on Chrome. =| My only extensions are literally just Stylish and 4chan Plus. (And Stylish is only set to work on 4chan and Tumblr)
There are plenty of fine hosts out there, of the one I see most commonly lately, Filesonic is the least obnoxious. Wupload and UploadStation are alright as well, but more irritating websites to look at.

Depends on what the matter is.. you mean the files.fakku.com link or the one the uploader puts? Beggers can't be choosers. Plus fakku link work fine.. your computers are weird.
