Do all of the PDF books have metadata embedded?

I used Calibre to embed metadata from my CBZ files into the PDF copies, and I noticed that the artist and title was already embedded in the book. I also viewed the books in Sumatra PDF and the chapters are all marked in the book. Is this only for recent books or has it been retroactively applied to older books, too?

This is currently relatively recent - the artist/title/chapters PDF metadata is mostly only present in books released since December 2018. However, our general plans include keeping our older books up to date to current technical standards, and we are currently in the process of updating our entire catalog in this regard, which will include updating all the PDF downloads with this metadata. It will take some time, but it does mean that later this year PDF metadata should be available on everything.
