Double Posting

Hi,
I'm still new to the site and I have read the FAQ, but I couldn't find any information on double posting. Someone told me that it is against the rules, but I don't know what double posting means. The last thing I want to do is cause trouble so could someone could explain this to me or show me where this rule is if I missed it, I would be very grateful.

Thank you so much! I understand and will keep this in mind for future posts :)

Just posting twice in a row within the same thread.
Or doing that, but posting the same thing over and over.

[font=verdana][color=green]Double posting is when you post twice in a row in quick succession in the same thread; normally, users are prevented from doing this, but if you are the OP you have the ability to do so. It's just that it can be counted as spam.
If you are an OP and you wish to bump your thread, you can do so, but just make sure that your posts aren't close together. Stick to that and you'll be fine.

And if your forum parlance is lacking, OP means "opening poster", as in, the user who made that thread.
