Email Validation

[color=#2e1a6b]When I opened up Fakku tonight, I immediately got a message saying to validate my account. The problem is that I deleted that email address long ago, so I can't open the validation email. I couldn't access my profile, and every page I tried to open redirected me to the validation page. I was still logged in, so I logged out, and logged back in. For some reason, I was able to browse fakku again. I changed my account's email address, and as soon as I saved the changes, I was stuck in the validation page again, but with an email address I could access.

So... very scary moment for me. I'm bringing this up because I'm worried about other users who might have lost their email like I did. The way I was able to change my email prior to validating seems like a fluke. (and it kinda destroys the whole purpose of validating)

btw, the email showed up in Gmail's spam, so you probably should have a note telling people to check it

I have just had problems with the Email Validation myself. I have had this account for a long time so why would I need to validate it now. But thats not even the big problem. When I try to validate it I get the message that says my account can not be validated. This happened like 3 times. Then I was able to just click on the forum tab and bypass it completely. This really should be fixed

[color=#2e1a6b]I'm sometimes getting re-directed to the validation page even though I've already validated my account. I sent another validation email and clicked on the link in the email; the page said "Your account could not be validated"
