Emoticons

Is there any plans to increase the number of Emoticons?
The ones avaible atm is pretty meh.

Defaults are good.

If you really need more, find the images and link to them externally if you wish.

Or, get a nice list of small in size [both physical and logical] and suggest again.

They're boring imo, i wouldn't hurt with some more funny ones.

That's what im doing, it's a pain in the arse.

This is not something that's really that needed, it's just that our selection of emoticons is kinda plain so that's why i thought i'd bring it up.

In theory, we don't really need them at all. I sometimes browse FAKKU in a text-only browser, and end up sticking to posts that don't contain excessive smiley use because their content is normally trivial in comparison to other posts.

Of course, there are plenty of exceptions to this rule. But I think you can even get inventive with text faces [^_^], etc. But I'm sure if you come up with some non-copyrighted graphics Jacob would love a look at them and will probably be glad to add them to the standard set if prodded enough. :P
