Everybody gets a little piece?

Recently I've made a thread and for some reason users who post in it all get a negative reputation?
I honestly don't care about the system, but I do hate that I'm being blamed for this by some users. This has happened twice is there some kind of explanation?

It's the bandwagon effect, also from what I've seen a lot of users don't like you (not my personal opinion). And if you post something and someone agrees with what you wrote, they probably will get -rep as well.

Also obligatory -rep for making a thread about reputation.

Most users dislike my name and the fact that I enjoy playing Call of Duty titles.
I just find it childish that a mod/user negative reps users just because they posted in my thread. I also say "Mod/User" Because all the negative reps are almost all given at the same time.

Like I said it's a bandwagon.

I don't follow your logic on this. Admins are the only ones who can hand out multiple reps and I can assure you none of them have looked at your threads.

Can you provide the link of the thread you mentioned? That way the mods/admins probably can give better judgement.
