Do you meet the games minimum requirements?

Two ways to solve this problem.

1. Read the included readme.txt. *SFX: Rolling eyes.*

2. Ask it on the site where you got that game from.

Option 2 will lead you to a polite person who will tell you to go into the folder where you installed the game, go into the properties of potion.exe, select the compatibility tab, and check the compatibility mode box to choose windows 95.

Should you still encounter problems with the game, press ALT in the start menu, select options and uncheck music.

Runtime error = an error generated during the time at which the computer is running a software application and experiences an issue. Very vauge.

MIDI Header errors = Make sure your computer has the most updated drivers for your sound card. XP + Vista have legacy support for outputting MIDI. But there is a possibility that the headers in the MIDI file are corrupt.

I have not encountered either of these errors on run, but I'm not using a version from FAKKU, meaning that FAKKU's version of the game may be an older version or in bad condition. I'm running Vista Ultimate, and ran the game in 95 Compatibility.

tl;dr: I'm thinking that FAKKU has a corrupt version of Love Potion, or an older one than me. Or your computer needs some updating, and possibly some hugs.

You probably didn't follow the instructions and put the Paradise Heights folder in the C:\ drive. However, you can run the game if you run RAKUEN.exe [or whatever it's called] after downloading and running: http://mihd.net/ega79d
