Is it a good idea to give out titles?

Is that really a good idea? I mean, people will start uploading tons of worthless crappy pictures just to raise pic upload count and even if mods don't award them they will still have to go through and delete all the crap.
I just think it's gonna attract lots of people who don't really care about quality of the site. Just how many pics they can upload so they can show off on the forums.

Allow users to rate images and sort by rating? Problem sorta takes care of itself and content increases.

If I catch anyone uploading useless stuff (especially if you're making my job difficult), not only will I remove those pictures/threads, but I will punish whoever is responsible so much that he/she won't be showing their faces on the forums for a while (let alone brag).
As admins of this site, we take note of and discuss who is worthy of being awarded titles before awarding them. We will NOT promote people just because they uploaded 4000 images or something. As Jacob mentioned in the update, the FAKKU Uploader rank is a special title to reward only members who have been helpful in the forums, and contributed wholeheartedly and well in terms of uploads, over a significant period of time. So if you want to increase your chances of being a FAKKU Uploader, how about uploading awesome images in the correct categories (request one if you need one) with appropriate names and useful tags?
I love this site, I love the community we have here, so I am trying my best to work with Jacob, Nikon and the rest of you to make FAKKU the best out there. So rest assured that I will NOT tolerate anyone who makes futile attempts to get ranks, such as uploading images we already have in the wrong or inappropriate sections. We can tell whether you really want to help, or are just playing the fool.
Oh, may I take this opportunity to announce the 'FAKKU Translator' rank. People with this rank will be part of the translation team FAKKU intends to have, and will work with me and other translators to share with you guys what we are able to enjoy. Needless to say, people with this rank are up there with the FAKKU Uploaders among the higher echelons of the FAKKU community.

I could not have said it better myself :D This is pretty much why Raze is going to be administering the image section. I trust him to make sure nothing like that happens.
The FAKKU Uploader rank is not something that is automatically given. We know everyone here on the forums and we know what to look for when we give out a rank title. I believe there are users here who deserve a lot more than I have given them, which is what we are trying to do by introducing ranks like this.
And keep in mind users can go and upload a ton of images but if they are out of place or inappropriate it takes us one or two clicks to delete the images, delete or ban the user, or change their upload and post counts. In fact the main requirement to obtaining this rank will be reputation, which is given by the users. So if you think someone deserves reputation give it to them, if not take it away.
