Login from the front page

I looked back a couple pages on this forum and didn't see anything like this so I'm sorry if I didn't look far back enough and this was already asked.

I'd like to be able to just login from the front page and not click on the 'Login' link at the top to go to another page to login.

Don't be lazy, and I say this in good jest so don't bite me please. A lot of sites are set up similar to this format, and I've never really had a problem with it, that's all.

I find that users are more concerned about staying logged in as opposed to logging in itself.
