FAKKU Reader Help, Feedback and Bug Report Thread

Can we please get the older UI back? I need my tags. Or make it so that I can select the UI mode (Gallery and List View, where Gallery is the new look and List View the old one with tags).

My experience in mobile. As others have said before, the "add to collections" menu is broken:

-It doesn't scroll, so you cant click on some of them if you have a several collections.
-Sometimes the collections dont get updated when you add something to them. You click, you exit the menu, you open the menu again and the check of the collections is not clicked. Not sure if its visual and the collection gets updated, maybe you need to load again the page, but its too chaotic.
-I think that, when you click on the button to display that menu, the web transports you to the start of the page (you get scrolled up all the browser can). Not sure, I don't know if i could reproduce it. Annoying, but I could live with it.
-The x used to close the menu is inside the button for the first collection, which should be favorites. You can use it still, but meh. Not terrible, but annoying.

I barely used the rest of the page, so I can't say. Not a fan of the new main burger menu, where you can go to the rest of the pages, including your account things. Maybe I need to get used to it.

Just turn off the 'beta' setting to change the display. I have no idea why this isn't listed as part of our account settings. Hell, I had to google to find this. https://www.fakku.net/forums/feedback-suggestions-and-support/front-page-layout
BTW shout out to animefreak_usa, for posting this info in the past.

The only positive I see with this change is that the Library finally doesn't show these huge images that barely fit the screen even on a 1080p monitor...

can't un-favorite chapters anymore. before i could do that by just clicking on the favorite button under each favorited chapter. now it opens a menu and even when i uncheck the favorites box and close the window, it doesn't work.

You'll notice if you look at the main page while logged out. It's just the cover pages of everything side by side, with titles that get cut off and the artist name underneath. No tags or descriptions. ... It kind of makes me think of gelbooru's layout, if that explains better.

Edit: Just realized that my solution only effected how the front page got displayed.

In Firefox for Android, when "Touch Navigation Style" is set to "Swipe only", pages still change with Taps. It's a fairly annoying bug, since this way pages advance when I just want to tap to display the menu.

Not sure it this is known but....

Can't see "settings" and "fullscreen" buttons while using the reader, icons for "info" and "autoplay" are also gone. Persistent across chrome and firefox.

I second this. I believe someone told be chapters from magazines eventually get turned into a tankobon? Idk which exactly or the specifics, but that'd be nice to know as well. But since we don't even know the books being published until they're announced, I doubt they'll tell us that either.

I cannot access my Profile, Favorites, or Collections.
All I get is a blank white page. What is wrong?

Plus, I cannot add chapters to my collections because the
scroll/slider bar on the "Add to Collection" page is missing.
