Should I take it to mean that the site is whoring out for as much page-by-page ad revenue as possible? Are t-shirt sales so insignificant? Does Jacob want this site to buy him a condo? Because that kind of shit would be despicable. Nobody's forcing them to have DDLs hosted on fakku servers, yet they've gotten rid of all the third-party links too except for the ones (usually expired) posted in comments.
Lack of official word makes me think the above is true and this site seems to be in the toilet. In before I'm banned for saying so. Wouldn't hurt to say that I block ads widely, and I can't be alone in this.
Jacob would be a rich man if he was doing what you just said.
But the fact that he works at Bioware pretty much explains why things are progressing quite slow.
This whole site is pretty much being run by the Global Moderators and Section Moderators. I think it's safe to say that admins do come here and fix little bugs but when it comes to something major, things are progressing quite slowly.

So I know the download links were supposed to be down for a "short" time. Can we now say that they will be gone forever or is someone really working on it? Just wondering.

So, I'm new to fakku.net and was upset because of this downlaod problem but I found an easy way to download and I'd like to share this with you. There ss a program called "domdomsoft manga downloader" With this you can download mangas from a lot of hosts. The software is free but there is one problem you have to master first. If you'd like to add fakku.net for downloading, you have to buy a licence but after a long search I found a crack and now it works fine. The crack was still up when I downloaded it on the 10.01.2013, so here's the crack link, have fun:
