Not 18+? Why not allow access to non-H content?
-1
I understand that Jacob needs to make a disclaimer to check age to eliminate liability, but Jacob is missing out on clicks because clicking "No" redirects to google images of Asuka Langley. It's funny, but a missed opportunity for clicks.
There is Non-H content for Manga and Doujinshi which is pretty tame and should be allowed to those who say they are not 18+.
https://www.fakku.net/manga/tags/non-h
https://www.fakku.net/doujinshi/tags/non-h
It's not much at all compared to the rest of the site, but it's a total of 13 pages of content or more specifically 112 individual uploads that they are allowed to look at when under 18.
Yes, it's easy to lie, but I know there has to be at least one person that follows the honor system and is missing out on Non-H content.
If a person says they're not 18+, then everything should be disabled except for the Non-H tag for Hentai and Doujinshi, as well as...
This may all be for naught, but I think honest individuals who are younger than 18 years old and those who want to see Fakku content should have a SFW option if they are in a public setting or live in fear of being interrupted by family or friends.
I'd rather have my favorite porn site get more page views and clicks than Asuka Langley's google images page. :/
What do you think?

I think this is an interesting idea. I myself am the creator of a non-h/ecchi story (at least chapter1) and I guess my readership could only increase if fakku had a section for readers that want to specifically read non-h manga. However I'm not sure how they could work that out because even if the content isn't hentai the ads on the site are still +18.

Because of what Fakku has to offer itd be difficult to allow a younger demographic on here. Most Ecchi is considered 16/17+ so it wouldn't make much of a difference to wait a year for people to buy content. Maybe if Fakku gets more diverse it can do something similar like how Jlist is 18+ and Jbox is open to all.

On another side I can imagine Fakku licensing SFW stuff, as Wani has a catalog for that, it may not be a big one, but it's still one.
It would be a more accessible kind of book than the usual at least.
(Taifu Comics does that in a way, their main name does yaoi/yuri/hentai, while they license stuff under the name Ototo)
Just dropping that idea, I'd say with the print quality Fakku provides, it'd be quite interesting to see the impact on the market.

Wani has non-h stuff? I had no idea...that's awesome!
And that's exactly my thoughts with the print thing. The manga market in the west really needs a shake and Fakku seems to be completely capable of that, so it seems a waste they only do hentai.

I believe that's one of the goals if things go well. I'm not sure which priority it takes above the other things he wanted to branch out into though.
Interesting idea, I like it.

I think that should be one of the top priorities, they would totally dominate the manga market in the west and force the other publishers to stop being pussies. I imagine it would also make Fakku bigger and so make it easier to achieve the other goals.

Although we do plan to eventually publish non-h content, I think it's best we keep FAKKU adults only. We'd probably start up something completely new for non-h.

Yeah, a bit like Taifu, then, releasing sfw stuff under another name.
By the way, here is one sfw serie from Wani:
It was licensed by Seven Seas Studio, so I don't think you'll see it licensed by Fakku. (those books in particular are from Dokidoki, a french editor)
I think it's no more produced.
