Yeah, we went from having "an option to disable it tomorrow" over a week ago, to hearing nothing.
But what's the point in changing it if the customers want it back? Make a poll then.

I believe that's why he suggested an option to disable it. Not flat out disabling it.

I'd probably assume it's either ended up being a bit of a pain, or they're a bit busy doing something else atm, and will get back to this eventually, considering it's not really a huge deal breaker. Just inconvenient

Sorry for the delay on this, it took me a while to find the time to add an option to turn this off. The goal of this feature is to help bring popular content from our back catalog to the front page for people that are new or may have missed it the first time around. However, there was a bit of an oversight on my part... the popular content we surfaced just ended up getting more popular from the new readers, and the feature never showed anything new on the front page as a result! So it was definitely annoying this first week to see the same stuff.

At the moment it should be showing new content, and I'll work on improving it more in the future.

Thank you!

While I do see why it is a good idea especially considering new users, for a lot of us they were simply causing additional confusion - although the quick slight redesign made them easier to distinguish. I usually just add the day's new releases to my Read Later list every morning, so it's nice not to have to worry about adding something I've read before to my already too long backlog.

I wonder if it'd be worth having it change every time you see it, so say you set it to show a set list of like the 20 most frequently viewed doujin over say a week period, but rotated. say showing 3-5 of them each time.
Also maybe put it at the bottom of the home page, so there's at least like 5-10 or so new releases before it or something?
That might help, maybe?

Hmm... I don't know whether it's related to this new setting, but I've been receiving notifications for topic replies since yesterday despite these being turned off in my notification settings.
