Problems when making a transaction with my debit card

Hello, yesterday I had issues trying to purchase a doujinshi. I used my usual Visa debit card, the same one I have successfully used several times on this site without any problems. However, yesterday I received a notification that my transaction had been declined.

I live outside the United States, specifically in Spain. Could this be the reason why my transaction was denied?
