Read History

OK, so maybe I forgot to favorite a manga I just read. Or maybe I one manga I just read didn't deserve to be in my favorites but I want to read again anyways. Or maybe I stopped half way in one and forgot what page I was on. What ever the reason was, I think it would be useful to put a way to make a read history of the mangas/doujinshis that I've just read. And it would be very cool if the history was account specific, so I could jump my history from one device to another. Just saying.

This should be a thing, it would be really useful and might even reduce some amount of request threads regarding what manga it was people have read on the site. I see no reason why this shouldn't be implemented in the future, it's a good idea. It would be cool if both this and that could happen.

Do you guys have any idea how much book-keeping would be involved with pretty much tracking the activity of all users? How many DB entries and therefore disk I/O this would involve?

A better idea would be to have a better way to organize your favorites, *maybe* a bookmark feature, that lets you put bookmarks in a limited number of manga/doujinshi.

This is actually a pretty cool idea, it might not be viable currently as it would be really expensive to implement, but if FAKKU Gold is successful this can definitely happen.

Thank you so much gor taking my idea into consideration Jacob. I really want to help out with the site where I can. Quick question in concerns to Fakku Gold, however, if you don't mind. When do you think it would be launched. Also, do you think there would be beta testing for it? I really want to try it and can help out with HTML code if need be.

I ran into this problem over the weekend and just used google to solve it, lol.

Googled Fakku and a few key terms from the Doujinshi and voila.

And Flaser, I think it is possible, from what I remeber, to locally save a read history onto a specific device's cache. Similar to how one can save their progress on a internet game on their computer.

I've implemented this as a FAKKU Gold feature and it's looking good, awesome idea!
