Shipment problem, and Store Admin Request

Hi All,
Is there a way to request that any of my pending requests in the store do not get shipped for some time? I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling for work the next little while, and there is no way I can co-ordinate to get my orders from UPS (who cause me grief every single time I deal with them). I received notification that a shipment was being sent, so I assume for that one I'll have to contact UPS directly to cancel, and pay for shipping again at a later date, but for any other orders where the book becomes ready while I'm traveling I'd like to avoid that situation if possible.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, since I of course didn't get around to requesting this before it was shipped.

Just contact support, use the drop down and select shipping/store support, and explain the situation to them.
I am sure you can request the books be held until a later date.
