Only Wani books and manga scan are affected. Still a lot of other shit. Plus you know google is still a thing.

The site will remain free for people and there will still be free content for people to view, but it's nice to see such wonderful works become available to the English audience perfectly re-translated and in such HD quality for an affordable price. They will in the future also have a premium membership which you can pay for and get neat perks, but it's still in the works so I don't have much info on it myself lol.

Okay stop. They were removed because of copyright claims. If you start distributing manga out of your garage to millions of people without a license, you'd better be ready to welcome lawyers on your doorstep. The manga would have been removed regardless of the bookstore. Fakku saw an opportunity to offer the manga legally instead of just taking it down.



I think the fears going around are a little irrational. If you're really that panicked that people are out to demand a ransom for your porn, start your own hentai website. Yes, in the unlikely scenario which every other major publisher decides to make copyright claims, this manga service as you know it cease to exist. Fakku would probably only remain active as a bookstore (and a pretty good one at that).

Senario 1: artist files DMCA against Fakku and the work is never to be viewed on Fakku again.

Senario 2: artist filles DMCA against Fakku, Fakku contacts them and publishes their work in better quality to us for a small fee.

Either way, you won't see it for free here on Fakku again. I'll take the small fee option thank you.
