Fakku Lurker
As a suggestion of something I would like to see on Fakku is community management. We like to hear what is going on but right now, to be in the know you have to dig through the forms for news. Questions like how many teams are working on Fakku? which artists and publishers are currently working with Fakku? Is Fakku looking to get deals with other publishers and if so who? How are technical issues coming along? I know I had some trouble with subscriptions and I figured I'd just give it a few months and see if the kinks where worked out by then. Even if nothing has changed a small post saying not much has happened this week, we are still working on (blank) would be nice to have once a week.
A dedicated community manager would be nice, but given the size of Fakku, is probably more than you need. I would recommend a news form, like the front page news form, but updated once a week with whatever is going on. Most sites even put links to these forms on the homepage, which I think a homepage would be good for Fakku, as you could have it customized with that users favorites and subscriptions, but you could just link to the news on the side of the front page, on the side next to the polls.
That's my two cents at least. I know that Fakku has always been bad about keeping the community informed, but now that it has progressed to a paid site, it might be time to do a little better in that part. Besides most of us have been with Fakku for a while now and enjoy hearing about Fakku growing.

A team introduction could be possible, I guess it really depends on if the people working on the projects want to be known.
The artists kinda of change depending on the magazine and book releases. Which can be found in the preview topics.
I don't think mentioning deals or talks with other publishers is a good idea or business practice. At least until the deal is final and you can announce the partnership.
A type of newsletter would be possible, since the accounts are verified through emails.

I can understand how talking about deals with publishers before they happen could be a bad business practice. So that's fine. I think I just wanted to know because of community requests. I am not sure how the whole process works. From what I understand is Fakku has publishing rights to Wani and a few independent artist that work with Fakku directly. Does this mean Fakku can publish anything from these people, of does Fakku have to request to publish a piece everytime? I know Fakku is currently publishing new content, at the same time it goes live in Japan, so what happened to all the back log of content? I heard that Fakku intends to translate and publish this stuff eventually, but right now it is not being worked on. It would be nice to have this information come from an official source and maybe get an update every now and then.
