sugestion: Reviews

It was suggested many types by the users for Fakku to implement some way for users to say how good the content is and make it some kind of rank that people can check to decide what to read next. Many people also commented that this would be problematic because some people would simply rate some content 1 star just because it's a genre they don't like (ntr, yaoi).

So my suggestion would be reviews! what if Fakku let users create their own reviews for their favorite works(specially books) that way users could help spread the word of their favorite content in a good way, maybe reviews would be rated maybe not, maybe there would be even a place in the forum for reviews? or a section in the front page for very good written reviews.

Maybe this could even be a way to keep non-subscribers interested in the site and maybe even make some get interested in the content and subscribe.

Not a bad idea. I could get behind this for the Fakku Books. As for individual manga chapters, eh, I think people kind of do that in the comments anyway, sort of.

We actually already have some stuff built for this but it's kind of on the back burner at the moment.

I think I mentioned it long time ago, but not here.
But in my opinion it would be better for newer books since most of the released ones were already (fan) translated for years, and besides only subscribers can write on the subscription forums/chapters (which is pretty stupid to me).

Other user could mark the reviews as useful or not and depending on how many reviews the user has written and as how useful the others rated them one could get an achievement or even a small discount on the next book

Ehh in long run I can see it turning into Steam reviews where blind fanboyism or "funny" things are top while objective criticism or negative reviews get nuked into oblivion.
