Suggestion: The hotness, but for Fakku

I sometimes peruse a website called BoardGameGeek.com and they have a 'hotness' sidebar that I have found some interesting things on.

I think this could be adapted for fakku, to use 'hot' author's and/or chapters. I have to call it a ranking, because I don't like to think that we are comparing tastes or genres. But I would love to see a list of author's with their total favorite count, divided by how many chapters they have published.

Or even if we could break it down by tags, could also be very interesting. show the most favorited chapters, for a given tag?

Just throwing ideas out there. Right now, my method is to go through all the previous chapters of an artist, as a new chapter is posted. What do other people do? Does anyone use the random button?

This existed before. There was a popularity section and one for controversial (though this one was filled with bara and Mein Kampf).

People probably want to see the statistics in this case. But does that bar update in real time? Also, I think OP wants something like "hotness sorted by: week, month, year, all time". That would be interesting to see which chapter gets fapped to the most.

I just had a vague idea about stats and other stuff. The browse isn't bad, I wouldn't mind being able to customize those categories. Some of them I wouldn't use, like books, (I have almost all of them). Would love to see Popular Authors.

I am writing a new post, because this ties into my original post. I would love to see personal stats for myself (which maybe could be shared with an option or annonymously). By personal stats I mean, see a ranked list of authors whose works I have favorited (say top 5 or 10).

Also, see which stories I have most commented on? See what tags are on the stories I have favorited? I dunno, but I feel like there could be some very intersting data to show.
