Tell me about your exp w/ fakku sub

Finally got off my butt and landed a job, and I was thinking about subbing to see some/all of the paid content (depending on if I still have to buy digital access for fakku books if I'm subbed). I'm not asking for specifics on subscribing as I can find that with a simple forum search, I just wanted to try and gather some thoughts and feedback on other folks' subscription experiences before I jump into it headfirst. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to your replies! :)

Subbing doesn't extend to the digital books. One=/=the other. It all depends on if you like a majority of the light genres and don't delve into the dark arts and genres of a non normal fetish. Ie loli/trap/NTR. Which there is some, but not like incest/vanilla/oppai. Second it's reader lock. unless you know code or google-fu So you lose the access after you stop paying. Third Special abilities like custom titles/ad free/color font/maybe some book discounts later.
Pretty much porn access. Nothing much else then that.

I like my subscription. I've said it before and I'll say it again and again: I can't get enough of the uncensored-ness. It just makes everything better. For now, the variety of content is a little eh, but hopefully in the future with more mags the diversity will be greater.

Alright, I think I'm picking up the beat you're puttin' down. So basically, if you like a wide range of stuff, subbing is the way to go, but if you only like one or two things, it's more economically feasible to only buy book access for relevant titles.

Subs will give you more variety since its different artists and different genres each time depending on what is drawn. The books are by one artist so they can range with genre's depending on the artist, but you get the same style for each chapter. Both are great though so if you have an artist you adore then go for a book or if you want to try your like at russian roulette (though every chamber is a winner) then go for that as well.

Thanks for the advice you've all given me, it definitely bears some thinking about in the near future when my first paycheck comes through, :)

I just don't feel like subscribing right now, not enough content worth 13 dollars a month.I generally have fairly broad tastes in what I'll read, so unless the art style isn't really my thing I'm good with most kinks. I can definitely see why you might feel that way if you only like one or two specific things though.

It's been pretty good so far.
What's to like:
Usual high quality localizations from FAKKU. I'm always happy with the manga quality and the English translation sounds natural.
Uncensored content. Nothing new here, but seeing how ridiculous the censoring can get reminds me of how good we have it here.
Decent variety. I won't stretch the truth. A significant portion of the content is pretty normal/vanilla. But it's not as much as most people would guess. I like the mix so far, even if some stuff is not my taste.
Supporting the industry I love. Hentai is art to me and I appreciate it as something far greater than simple porn. It's only right that a person gets compensated for their hard work.
What's not to like:
Lack of a download option. I'd be happy to purchase individual issues at a premium for downloads. We might still get something like this in the future but it's a pretty big maybe. Sometimes online only access doesn't work out.
Lack of payment options. There's work being done to improve this but right now we're locked into credit cards only. A lot of people want PayPal and bitcoin is also currently missing. I think paysafecard was also in demand.

as far as a lack of download options being available, it takes a bit of doing, but you should be able to screencap every page and paste it into paint or something, then crop it to cut out all the extra stuff on the outer edges.

i haven't subscribed, and i don't think i will in the near future because i can't spare the extra $13 a month, but it bugs me that all of the subscribed content still goes through to my notifications if it has a tag that i've subscribed to. When a title sounds interesting and has multiple tags i subscribe to only to then find out it's a subscriber only read, is very frustrating. it happens multiple times everytime i go through my notifications list.
literally the only reason i'm considering subscribing is because of how much of an inconvenience its become to be a free user now.

I've definitely noticed how rough it is to see interesting preview pics and want to read it, but have it locked behind a paywall, lol

Demon Kitsune
Legendary Fakku Master
Late Response to the Party.
I really like being able to have access to some of the content, but the problem there is that I say SOME.
I like Specific Artists, and Art Styles, so that limits me to 65% (at this moment, as more will be uploaded in the future) of Sub Content. Then I like Specific Kinks, which puts me to 40%. So as you see, by my own preference, I'm limited.
So it's really a matter of preference.
If you like Futa's, You're out of Luck.
If you dislike Censors, You're In Luck!
You can browse freely around the internet and find your Favourite Artist and Style, or you can come here, if you're not picky and get monthly content.
It's truly a preference matter!

Alright, and don't worry about the late response, I still read it, ;p
I haven't paid enough attention to who writes the manga that I've enjoyed, I tend to go off the preview pics to determine if I like the art style and premise of the story. Idk if that makes me a noob or not, but w/e

I got a subscription and I love it, but if you are not sure if you should get one then better wait.
The subscription started in September and in my opinion it´s still in the beginners phase. At the moment there is a beta test for an improved premium reader and also there shall be other features which shall be added in the next months. It was mentioned that early next year the content without license will vanish and at this point nobody knows if there will be a download option (altough my guess is it will be available once fakku is complete "legalized").
So if you are not sure better wait and look what way fakku takes and decide then, like other commenters mentioned there are plenty of sites you can read lots of hentai for free (altough not the licensed chapters you have as subscriber)

In terms of content available per $ you spend, subbing is the way to go. But subscriptions don't give you access to the books. It's entirely up to the content that you enjoy.
My experience is that while a ton of material is available via the subscription, I just don't read it because I'm not into that stuff. This situation may change in the future as more stuff is added to the pipeline.
I'm not trying to do a Books vs sub comparison, whereas books will only get you ~10 chapters and cost an entire month's worth of subscription time, my experience is that I've felt more satisfied with my book purchases than with my current subscription simply because they have the content that I want (NaPaTa mostly).
