the games dont work

I would imagine that none of them work on Vista, but I have no idea.

Some of the games that work sparingly in XP (or take a long time to start) won't run at all in Vista. What version of Vista are you running? Ultimate? And is it 32 bit or 64bit?

64bit experiences many problems with old games and applications, in many cases, it won't start at all.

Another importaint question is, Did you pirate this OS? Some pirated versions are done sloppaly and are missing some critical drivers for backwards compatability just to save space.

You have to be more specific than "The games don't work on my computer".

- Which games in particular don't work?
- What operating system version are you running?
- Do you have Japanese/Asian encoding installed/enabled?
- Do you have the latest DirectX update?
- Do you have it configured correctly to work with your video card?

Any of these could be issues, and the standard "it doesn't work" doesn't really help us in diagnosing and solving your problem.

I myself am running on Vista Ultimate 32bit. I ran the game on my fully updated system, without Japanese encoding and had no problems.
It takes up 36MB of RAM and gives me 1% CPU Usage when running. On your first run of the game, it will open in fullscreen. The problem may be that your computer doesn't have the video memory available to open a fullscreen application in such a low resolution. I myself was running Call Of Duty 4 in the background, so the game requires very little resources (or perhaps it's because I have an overpowered PC) What model is your graphics card? You can find this out by running DXDIAG from the Run box in your start menu.



We have had many problems with Windows XP (and other Windows Operating Systems) running any of the Immoral Studies series. If you have a spare windows 98 machine, run it on that. Otherwise, give up. I just attempted running it in all Comp. modes in Vista and get the same errors.

It actually worked the second time around, the intro has a low res, but it's just the game.

I would SO wish to know what the games is in fact saying to me. Is that where Japanese encoding comes in right? If not, I supposed I'll have to guess my way through the game.
