Thinking about moving to Japan: hypothetical FAKKU questions

I know that it is illegal to sell or distribute uncensored porn in Japan, hence why FAKKU's site is banned there. Importing is a bit more murkier, but the same rule generally applies. Apparently if its in printed physical form and customs catches it when you enter Japan, they will confiscate it, and possibly make you write a letter and pay a fine.
Downloading seems to be fine, because that's just possession and they don't care about that. Presumably, if the site I was downloading it from was based in Japan, the site itself would get in trouble, but I would be fine.
Now, I know I can access FAKKU via a VPN, but what about buying stuff from FAKKU in Japan? I'll assume I can't use a Japanese debit or credit card, but what if I keep my current country's bank account and debit card, buy digital books from FAKKU in Japan using that, then download it? Would that count as importing?
I must emphasis that this is NOT FOR PHYSICAL PAPERBACK BOOKS FROM FAKKU. I have no interest in buying those currently, I never will, and I know those won't get through shipping to Japan. This is just for me buying, viewing, and downloading FAKKU's digital goods.
Please feel free to correct me on any assumptions or statements I've made in this post. I really want to make sure I have accurate information.

I mean the store won't even let you buy it with a Japanese address the sites ordering code is hardwired to block the non-legal countries where pornography is illegal or restricted to the censored under Japan's laws. No third party stores in proxy sellers that's another thing you might be able to get away but there's always a chance the Customs agents gets free uncensored poontang pornography. It's not illegal to own it is this selling it Distributing it and giving it to a Japanese citizen is restricted

Sorry I misread I thought you were talking about buying a book and sending it over to Japan it's hard for me to read sometimes with this messed up eyes I have. Digital has no shipping address so that should be fine. You could invest in a VPS that has a VPN in it that way it downloads into a third party server or remote access American computer at your if you're able to know why you download into an American computer that you own

Yeah in all likelihood you can't use a credit card with a Japanese billing address. That's easy to get around if you use a service such as "Privacy" which allows you to generate burner credit card numbers. I don't know what services work with Japanese banks though
