I'm not sure if this has been already suggested but WTF, I think there should be some sort of system put in place to make it so that people in different timezones post's are displayed with the correct time and date specific to that user so if one user is intrigued by another user in a different timezone they'll be able to grasp their online routines (provided they are active users).

But wouldn't different timezoned Timestamps get even more confusing?

This would make shit overly complicated for no reason or benefit.
Why have the time stamps on posts zip all over the place with the math off to the side?

Maybe give people the option to list their country like skype.

This would be the same as looking at someone's profile on this website - since it's just a one on one, it can display their time in their zone.
Spoiler:
Notice how Skype isn't doing that when in group chats? That's what pretty much every forums site does - it conforms everyone's time to YOUR timezone.
Having specific times instead of having it conform you the user would make it too messy.

It can't be too hard to add a clock to one's profile which conforms to their set timezone, like Skype does.
But on the forums the seemingly random timestamps from various timezones would make things get way too confusing.

Depends.
Local Time (UTC+x)
[Ex. 12:03 (UTC+8)]
or Local time (UTC time)
[Ex. 12:03 PHT (04:03 UTC)]
I agree to the suggestion provided that there is an option to hide/unhide them.

Medzy's post makes the most sense to me. It's not really necessary to know the timezone the post was made in; that's more of a profile thing. I'd rather know how long ago the post was made in relation to me. Extra info just makes the timestamp more cluttered unnecessarily.
