[Locked] Win some stuff! Art contest!

Yea, finally finished! Took 18 hours to start, sketch, (watch a movie) finish and post.

I've now been awake for 30 hours. Should probably go to bed. Night everyone, well it's mid-afternoon but I'm wrecked.

Also, only person on page 5. I'm so lonely.

I appreciate the encouragement, but that was indeed my plan anyway. I think it's coming along nicely: I gotta sharpen my colored pencils and add some color than I'll submit it tonight : )


Also, the posts so far are so damn cute. Aside from a few changes, I practically duplicated the reference so it'll be my friend's joke that'll get my submition to compete.

Haven't done digital art in a really long time, so I had fun with this. Took me around 2 hours.

If you have an iPhone, they have a lovely cam-scanner that I actually use to upload my line-art into Photoshop. It does a great job!!

I really want to join this contest too. ;3; I have another project that's due on June 1st though, so if I can't finish it early, I doubt I can draw Momoka too. ;3;

I can't help but say I felt rather witty when I came up with this idea. All in all this was a pain for me, but I rather enjoyed the end result.

This is also my first post here (like a lot of people)! I've been enjoying this site for a while, but never bothered registering. Now i can participate in the polls!

Anyways, I wanted to make a funny picture so i made Momoka a gangsta on Blingee. I used one of the reference pictures and crudely ms paint-ed her head onto this picture http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1532641 because i thought she should be wearing a suit to be extra gangsta.


It's not really "original work", but can i submit this? Sorry if it breaks the rules
