Maitetsu: "Cannot load Plugin drawdeviceD3DZ.dll"

When the download completed and I extracted the zip archive, I got an error message after clicking on "Maitetsu.exe"
It gave me an error message about DirectX and said: "Cannot load Plugin drawdeviceD3DZ.dll".
That's all I did...
Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong?
(I have a Windows 10 system with DirectX12)

Update: I fixed the problem.
I didn't understand why it didn't work because I had the latest DirectX installed. But apparently that's not enough.
I read the following article and installed the older versions of DirectX as well. And now it works.
So if anyone has any problems related to this:
