Point'n Click is not what a visual novel or eroge is like.
This is a point'n click game.
While there do exist hybrids between VN's and gameplay, confronting visual novels as a medium with that kind of mindset is not advisable.
You basically want to READ something, not play something. That's why they are narrative-driven games, after all.
I wouldn't recommend Katawa Shoujo to you though; while it's certainly mild in terms of porn or themes, it is a western work of fiction, meaning that it doesn't reflect what VN's mostly are like. Most of these types of ''games'' (if one would even refer to them like this) are of Japanese origin, meaning that this will reflect in each respective title.
You wouldn't really expect a copycat version of something that gains more and more momentum in the west expect to be just as good as the real deal, now would you?
All in all, it depends on how open you are about sexuality and themes in general.
If you are anal about porn or social taboos, then you might want to start with something light-hearted.
But, to be fair, lots of VN's come with porn, not uncommonly with bizarre or hardcore fetishes; if you can't stomach that type of content, then this medium might not be your cup of tea.
If you can stomach this kind of content though, I'd recommend you something thought-provoking, yet short in terms of length that relatively accurately reflects the kind of content you can expect to see from this medium.
This is highly recommendable, if you are willing to approach it with an open mindset.
Feel free to ask me more in private messages, if you would like to hear more about VN's.
I probably make it sound more grim as I mean it to, but it's best to know beforehand what these types of games are like.

Hey thanks for the explanation. I didn't mean to sound like a bigot in the post. I should have phrase it better. I was trying to see if there were more games like traditional games on console and pc. I did some research, and I saw nutaku have some games outside of the visual novel genre.

Rance 5D & VI
Evenicle (will be released June 28)
Eiyu*Senki - The World Conquest
Yumina the Ethereal
Seinarukana -The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2-
There are of course many more eroge with gameplay other than just those, but those ones were the first that came to my mind that have official English localizations. I'm a bit partial to eroge from Alicesoft (developer of the first two titles I listed), as they IMO do the best at making enjoyable and rewarding gameplay.

I never said that you sounded like a bigot though. I just explained how I see the medium.
Ask ten people the exact same question, and you will get ten different point of views.
Nutaku is prone to censor the games though.
While they claimed that they will no longer censor games distributed via Nutaku, they still do and have proven that they are not credible at all.
Source: Twitter comment stating they won't distribute games that were censored
and
Censorship in a fairly recent title.
Compare the time of posting from the first tweet to the second one; alone the comments say a lot about Nutaku.
I know some of these people a little, and a few of them are people, that do their homework when it comes to VNs.
If you want to buy these games, don't do it via Nutaku. or god forbid, Steam (which would be another can of worms entirely).
Since Fakku got into VNs too, it would be smart to look for titles on VNDB.
You can search for tagsm but I'd not recommend it to you, because VNDB tends to set descriptions of titles and most importantly, setting tags on a willy-nilly basis.
For example, if you look for tags, it can very well be that the tag alone (despite not being set as spoiler) spoils you what kinds of endings you can get.
Last, but not least, I'd recommend you Sanahtlig's Blog.
I specifically linked you to his Gameplay tag.
He also hosts a list with every known official english VN release that received censorship, if that's what is important to you.
Judging from what you said, you might get interested in the Venus Blood games, too.
Currently, the developer, Ninetail is in the process of starting a fundraiser for the latest installment of the Venus Blood series, Venus Blood Frontier.
The fundraiser campaign should start sometime within this month.
As you can see, there's a trial you can download at the very bottom on the official Venus Blood Frontier website.
Just give it a whirl, if you feel like it. :)
Hope that helps.
Just think twice to whom you give your money to though.
