Beliefs like that should die and I mean by when I say die.

I'm very not superstitious, yet I use the phrase "knock on wood" a lot, or actually physically knock on wood. Heh, go figure.

Happy Friday the 13'th, may black cats cross your path, salt spill at your touch and mirrors break because of you.

If anything actually bad happens I'd be surprised.
