Saw this at AWA at the Anime Hell panel, and I liked the message it portrayed. Countless battles have been fought out under the banner of 'Religion,' but is simply just for human greed. At the end of the day, we will all perish, and we will all belong to Death.

Except the Romans didn't conquer Judea for religious reason nor did the Romans do that in the other conquests. In fact the Romans didn't care about ones religion if you followed the social code.

These threads are actually pretty common here though.

There's usually done by people with a lack of insight, poor understanding of history, absolutely no understanding of social psychology and a laughable and almost naive understanding of politics at the time they're talking about.

Religion isn't the best thing in the world, but it doesn't cause all the worlds problems.

Remember at the end of the day the only thing that drives want is yourself. No religion states straight out to kill people and take their land. That's what we call a cult.
