An Apology to IB

Apparently I offended certain people in IB because of a certain way I welcomed one of the people into the community. Someone suggested I had been trolled and that was the reason I had said what I said. To the people that use IB and downvoted my post in that welcome thread I extend an apology as I will admit it was out of place and unprovoked. To those who saw it fit to insult me please get a little civility about yourself. That is all folks.

I thought the general idea was to actually warn other users to stray from IB until they are ready for the buttfrustration ?

EDIT: I have looked at the post. I understand warning the new user about the place, but to the extent and the way that it was delivered was pretty tasteless even by IB standards.
A simple 'don't take things seriously in IB' suggestion would have been much better and a better reflection of you as a regular user towards the newbie. The fact that you went into detail in a generally negative manner moreso shows off your own inability to keep professional face in welcoming a new user. We want to keep new people here, not suggest that there are generally negative people on a site that features things they have interests in. Its that kind of approach that has destroyed communities just like this one before. Regulars scare off the new people and that reflects the site as a whole.
Remember, each of us here can be seen as a representative in how the community interacts as a whole. If I were to see something like that on my welcoming thread I would seriously doubt the majority of the members on the site as a whole would issue a warm welcome. Once a thought of negatively takes hold, that person's opinion of Fakku will be hard to shake off as a first impression.
If you made it this far and didn't get the joke yet let me spell this out for you. This is actually pretty serious post even for me, but I have worked this so can also be delivered as a very degrading joke towards you.
