Bermuda Triangle

I just saw this map on Ra2,
my first impression was a huge frog that attacks all incoming 'objects'
but now I only think that the Captains were just getting careless about thier work because of the 'curse' they are believing.
now guys, what is your opinion about thier tradegy?

I think that it is just a regular patch of ocean. I don't think that there is anything going on there. Would I go through it? Sure. Would I be nervous? Probably, it never hurts to be cautious...just in case.

It's a good way to IRL troll faggots that actually believe this shit.
Take them there without telling them they're in it. Then tell them where you are. Watch them shit themselves. Maintain a poker face throughout their ordeal.

Its probably some current issue, some ocean currents meeting causing a large contained storm in the Bermuda Triangle area. Anyways, the real number of losses of ships and airplanes is not proportionally higher than in any other area of the ocean. Basically, its not really a mystery, its just us faggot humans making a big deal out of nothing

There was a series called "The Triangle"something or other and it actually kinda gave it a conspiracy theory in which what made the planes and stuff disappear was because the government opened a transdimentional portal when someone was in that zone.
But I agree with OP.

I don't personally believe in the existence of the Bermuda Triangle. Like Mangaexpert said, that have not been more incidents within the Bermuda Triangle in proportion to accidents anywhere else in the world.
It's just sailor folklore. There are a multitude of explanations as to what has occurred within the Triangle. Deliberate destruction of vehicles via war and/or piracy, lost vehicles due to minute compass variations (which occurs almost everywhere, not just the Triangle,) Gulf Stream flow, tropical storms and hurricanes, and even human error.
Hell, there is even a known methane hydrate pocket several miles off the eastern coast of Florida that could possible explain the destruction of ships within the Bermuda Triangle.
"When a scientific explanation suffices, why do we insist on searching for a supernatural one?"
That said, I do like reading about the supernatural explanations. Some are actually interesting. My favorite is that it is some misguided piece of old technology left by the Atlantians, Muah or Lemurians.

It's pretty much normal area of sea, except methane hydrate pockets here and there... with exception that *it is* the one of two areas on the planet where magnetic field is reversed. The other one is located off coast of Japan, and incidentally, Japanese sailors had developed similar superstition about it as Western ones have about Bermunda Triangle..
I believe it certainly mattered in an era where the only navigating methods were stars and magnetic compasses...well maybe. But does it matter anyway? And just thinking out loud, but should we solve any mysteries we find? Wouldn't world be a much...boring place then?
Today's statistics show that neither era is much more dangerous than other areas on the sea, but you know how people are...a story about sinister area where people go missing or a whole bunch of seemingly unexplainable things happened....people love it.
And it's the same with supernatural explanations - the "methane hydrate" hypothesis (plus the usual accidents relating to weather or loss of orientation) may be the truth, but they sound nowhere near as romantic as story about Altantean dimensional device or aliens.

My dad was a captain back in the day, and he once told me his crew actually went deep into it and all the equipment on board started to go haywire, like the compass spinning irregularly and constantly, his crew was scared shit and stayed in the cabin. He stayed en route and got out though.
