Christmas Shopping Help

Hi. Sorry if this is in the wrong section, or if there's like a specific topic for this kind of thing.
Today I went to the mall to watch Hobbit with some dumb kids and found GTO and Girls und Panzer for sale.
These two are some of my favorite anime(s?) of all time so I wanted to buy one as a gift.

Great Teacher Onizuka (1999) is 43 episodes
Nihonreview gave it a 9/10
Cost: $79.99

Girls und Panzer (2012) is 12 episodes
Nihonreview gave it a 10/10
Cost: $59.99

I'm scared the store'll be out of stock so I'm getting it right when the sun rises.
I'm a regular, and this is like the first time in months these appeared on shelves.
Can't choose both 'cause I'm saving up for some laxative.

You can either get a season for 60 bucks, or buy a show with almost 4 times the episodes for 20 bucks more. It's a matter of personal choice: cute girls in tanks or manly teacher being manly.

I'm stuck in-between unfortunately. Hoping you all would tip the scale in one direction.

OT: I guess I'd probably go with GTO. More bang for your buck.

Dual audio is a bonus.

Only seen GuP and while its great, its not a 10/10. Most "cute girls doing X" anime won't have sufficient character development to get a 10/10. I'd go for GTO just because GuP isn't worth the money when you can download it.

I'd rather spend $60 on Steins;Gate (the VN) since its very close to a 10/10

they gave that girl tank show 10/10? They are obviously idiots. Get GTO

Their both great series, flip a coin.

I really enjoyed GuP, but not 60 dollars worth of enjoyed.

Haven't seen either but I hear GTO is good.
