DC Universe Online is a bit addicting

I even made a character which matches my username's sake. With what little customisation options DCUO has, an attempt to make him look vaguely feline made it look like an overmuscular Furry. Which can fly and shoot laser beams from his hands.

Fuckin' badass.

You're not missing much, if I'm honest. It's losing it's initial "OHMYGODTHISISAWESOME" and now it's just "Meh". Now I'm just pissing about on it

Honestly? It's not that good at all. Throughout playing the game, there's one trend that they use all the time when it comes to missions, and that's;

1) Introduce a new type of enemy, told to kill a few.
2) Complete 2 missions in taking down that enemy and beating back any technologies involved (which constantly respawn anyway)
3) Find the enemy's base and defeat the final boss, which is easy as piss once you figure out it's attacking routine.

You can't really level up efficiently if you don't complete missions either, so it all gets very samey-samey.

Edit: There are other variations on missions but it's mostly just "Go here" and "Interact with this"

Oh and the level cap is 30. So if you do do missions, you can max out your character within a couple of days of constant gameplay.

Are the graphics even good? What about the classes and character customization?

Graphics are pretty good. CG cutscenes are legendary.

As for classes and character customisation, I'll leave that for you to decide should you ever play it. Character creation is somewhat limited.

Meh, I played that game, made myself a Kamen Rider and got bored of kicking people after the first 4 hours.

I wish MARVEL made something like DCU.

There is one being made by the same studio who did Super Hero Squad Online. My problem with the production is the fact it uses the god aweful unreal three engine just like DCUO. I believe the studio is called Gazillion Entertainment...

On another note DCUO is not an MMO. You can play it like one however I managed to complete alot of missions on my own without even needing a party or being at a certain level. Overall it is a Massively Singleplayer Online experience.
