How do I start... I'm not too sure of how it got started but..
I wasn't the one who started the account, my brother did. He frequently comes to this site to browse doujins, occasionally visit the forums as far as I remember.

Being the annoying little sister I am, I frequently barged into his room to read books and annoy him. (Must have been tough for him huh, now that I think of it. I mean him visiting FAKKU and all)

I got interested in the forums he was participating in, not long after he decided to post in the forums with me around. So it went from me posting with his account every once in a while to taking over the forum side of the account entirely ww.

This place was actually the start of how I got really into the Japanese anime culture. So many friends were made here too. It's so nostalgic.

Sometime later, things got a little busier when I entered a higher level of study. So I left..

I'm back here to experience the nostalgia, stalked a few names and found this thread. I did feel bad leaving without a word. So here I am. I think my brother still visits occasionally? I don't know, he lives in America now haha.

Today, I'm a 24 year old office lady for a small company and a crazy iM@s P outside of work.
I don't plan on participating in the forums again, but it was.. really really enjoyable when I was active. Really.
Kind of brought a tear to my eye seeing some familiar names in this thread and seeing that they are doing well too. Thank you so much fakku and everyone that I have ever interacted with and I'm sorry for leaving haha. I missed all of you.

Was probably some of the members only links that got me to sign up.
But I still don't like people, well maybe Nikon, still here? Especially people that voted for the wrong girls in the MoteMote battles...yeah I loved those but hated that my favourite always lost so screw you! Before everything else i would like to apologies in advance for necroing this.but i just had to post here O.O

Flameofheaven here and ive been a member since 8 years ago, some of you i know and hopefully some remembers me 0.0. what started out as a random search for doujins ended up with something that changed my life,just like some of the people here i was an ancient of the grandaddy of the chat threads, the random squad, from there i meet a lot of awesome people, had lots of fun and made treasured memories, and this couldnt have happened if it wasnt for Fakku.

I seldom visit from time to time seeing how the site grew and by golly did it grew. I tried to mingle with the new generations but alas, you cant mix the old and the new and life hit me really really hard so i went on a very long hiatus but coming back i could see that the site and the forums have never stopped improving so for that i applaud you guys. Bravo guys..bravo :3

Hey. Thought I'd chip in.
I've been a lurker since 2007-ish I think, made an account and started posting in 2010. Though that didn't last long, I've never been someone to post in forums much. However, I've always enjoyed reading the posts here on Fakku!
It continues to amaze me what Fakku has turned into, and how far it's come as a site and business. Seriously impressive stuff.

Since I posted last I've been through uni, and now I work overseas in Canada as a software engineer in the games industry, first as a game developer and now on some engine-level stuff. Programming and story-telling has always interested me, so I pursued the perfect combination of that; games.

As for hobbies I still watch anime and read manga in my spare time, I've managed to visit Japan once and hope to go again soon. I've been learning Japanese on and off in my spare time, but I'm still horrible lol.

Now that I'm somewhat close to the US and have some savings, I hope I can attend some conventions, maybe even meet some Fakku members. Is that a thing that we do on here? Idk.
Cool to see some familiar names on here, really awesome to hear how you're all doing.

Anyway hi, I'm _Raven_ and I've been here since '07. Used to be really active till the whole megaupload fiasco happened, loli was banned, etc etc. So I left and ended up doing other stuff. Probably still gonna just hop on once in a while now cause not too much interest is keeping me here, also being older and whatnot too.

Been working at an Amazon sort center and ripping CGs from VNs/Eroges as a hobby.

that would mean all the people would have to check to see when that one day would be and given how infrequently most of these people post I doubt it'd be as grand as you/we would like

That being said, I fell of the radar quite suddenly (trip back to HK) then following that college. Now from an angsty 16 year-old in highschool (yes I know) I'm working towards a masters in radiochemistry at Berkeley (Go Bears!)...the agony. Well, I'm here. Just lurking tho' again, although I was active a few years ago. 2007 user. Still working. I only visit Fakku is if it's a free day, and I had a hankering for just popping in and checking out the goods.

I could set a date in advance and then we can spread the word. I am sure most of the members still keep in touch with one another and word of mouth spreads easily... I hope.

I am sure it wouldn't take up too much of our time to at least log in on that specific date each year. ^_^;;

However, when would be a significant date? Eve of Christmas Eve? Eve of New Year's Eve? 29 Feb of every leap year? Need some suggestions here.

Maybe the eve of Christmas, or around that month, since holidays will allow people to actually show up.

Id be back as long as i knew the day~
