Getting Doujinshi to the states?

I'm sure this has been discussed multiple times, but whatever. I wasn't sure where exactly this would go, but this seemed like the best place.

I know that if you try to bring Loli doujins from Japan to America, your ass is grass (at least that's what I've read, which is why I buy no KnJ doujins on eBay,) How are people able to get non-loli doujins over here? I thought you weren't allowed to bring sexual content or stuff of that nature across customs.

Or am I wrong entirely?

I've made comments about this for some time. I've always been too paranoid to buy overseas doujins and the Handley case didn't make me feel any better. Granted, he had like bestiality and Comic LO stuff, but that's not the point. I'd like to hear about any developments on this as well.

There are a few doujins I'd love to buy online, but I don't know if it would be risking something or not. Someone's bound to answer eventually. Hopefully.

I saw this great Mina Tepes (Dance in the Vampire Bund) dakimakura at Hobby Search but I'm too paranoid to buy it... but ooooh how I want it. Still, there's no way in hell you could explain to customs why you want an item like this and they would believe you. I, too look forward to some answers. I know some people buy them at cons (none around here that sell them unfortunately) from Hen Da Ne or whatever the name is.
