I believe she is called Yagyu Kyubei. :o
Moar info [minor spoilers]
(柳生ä¹å…µè¡› YagyÅ« KyÅ«bei)
"Kyubei is an aristocratic young lady who was brought up as a male in order to succeed her family's clan. She dresses and behaves like a boy due to her upbringing, but occasionally shows her more feminine side, and appears to be interested in clothing in the gothic lolita style. She was close friends with Otae when they were children (and in fact is in love with her), and lost her left eye protecting her when they were young. As a result of this incident, Kyubei now wears an eye-patch across her left eye. The incident also left her with the determination to make herself stronger, and for many years she was training hard to improve her skills. When she returned shortly before her appearance in chapter 110, she has already mastered the Yagyu-Ryu sword technique. Her strength is just below her grandfather's.
Her name is roughly based on one of the famous Japanese swordsman, Yagyū Jūbei Mitsuyoshi."

I only watched the first few episodes of the anime so I was a bit confused at first as well. But apparently Japan loves her because it is all the doujinshi I have seen.

Kyuu-chan would become a pretty important (semi-recurring would be a better word I guess) character in the series.
As to Gintama doujinshi's... just so you know, the ratio for BL stuff to non-BL's is about 1.5:1 (I have 22 for BL and 15 non-BL's), and yet ones that feature Kyuubei numbered at 8 (with most of them being newer ones). So it's pretty normal for the website to have them like this :P

Started watching the Anime in the last weeks. I love nonsense manga/anime but, for the moment, the funny situations are not that funny, imo. Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo wins as best nonsens manga/anime haha ^^
But I think that Bobobo is not very suited to transform into hentai :l

The two are a bit different in style in terms of the jokes.
Bobobo focuses almost solely on puns (which are, if you have not noticed, butchered and grinded to the last bit after translation into something very different, to let the English speaking audiences understand "the funny" part).
Gintama, on the other hand, does its joke mostly on pop-culture.
