How much trouble/burden would you go into for hentai?

I'm going to do what is really fucked up, learn Japanese to mostly to read untranslated manga [90% is hentai] and watch a few anime [50% is hentai].
I'm going to start this summer. I shall regret nothing.

I would like to learn japanese but I dont have the time to do so, as for so great lenghts to get hentai, before i had a computer and no wifi i would download doujins page by page on my psp while using the internet signal across the street from my neighbors house. The only way to get a strong signal was to lay on my back with my psp in the air, those were truly dark days.

Hmm, I guess I wouldn't kill somebody for Hentai but I too plan to learn Japanese (I wish you good luck and, just don't loose your motivation, it does most of the work).

Well, anyway you just have to do what you have to do to what you want to do ~

What method will you use to teach yourself? Would you learn how to write it first?(I'm trying to 'kind-off' learn as well (◐†¿â—‘))

I once spent 7 weeks on trying to find a hentai name. Also 3 weeks finding a hentai ED song name.
I also learned some japanese from Hentai/ Anime

I'm going to study using books and the internet, after that I'll take classes.

Start off learning kana; took me 1 week.

Wish I had the willpower to learn the language myself, written mostly ... or both I guess haha. I suck with foreign languages though and took a class once, just not gifted in that department. I was freaking terrible. lol

OT: I am learning Japanese but it isn't solely to read hentai or watch anime, though that is a part of it, and there's nothing wrong with learning it for just that reason - so go for it.

But once you learn it, don't just stop at reading and watching. Develop it more so it can be an applied skill you can use at those random times when you'd never know you'd need it. Since you're already learning, might as well go all the way.

lets keep it at that, anime, manga, hentai games and my pc are my life, someone get between that or me, and they shall feel pain. other than that, i'm still trying to learn japanese to understand stuff better. but time is always against us...

I plan to do that after I finish learning German. I mean, I have to pay back the community with translations sometime.
