There was actually a bunch of reasons; Fakku Daters being creepy on the Discord server, anonymity allowing for minors to interact with someone much older, that kind of shit.

The service was likely put up with good intentions, but you always get the slack-jawed morons who ruin things.
And this is why we don't get nice things.
