I still don't quite know why the show was cancelled. Some say it was too expensive to keep hiring out the aircraft hangar which they used as the "garage", others say the robots became too overpowered and it was a threat to the audience, others say there was a dispute with the producers and the rest say that moving the show to channel Five made it lose popularity. Y DOES NO-ONE KNOW WHY IT WAS CANCELLED?!

Anywho, this shit made up my teenage years.

The PC game was pretty fun too, but they always started you off with shitty materials.

I remember watching this as a kid too. This and Junkyard Wars.

But now instead of watching normal robot wars, you can watch SUPER ROBOT WARS!

I remember the ones that spun around like crazy always did real good.

Haha, maybe not that one. I watched the American version and there was one which I can't remember its name, but it had jagged edges and spun around really fast. I kicked everybody's ass.

Sounds awesome :o Robots like that in the UK version almost always lost. Majorly.

Now, let's go from best, to worst!



Diotoir had a history of being the worst recurring novelty competitor in the series, third series he's appeared and never won a match. This was the only battle where he not only won, but also didn't catch fire.

What's even more surprising is that it defeated Tornado in it's next match.



Tornado didn't lose easily.

Another spinning bot(sort of) and probably the best, Hazard.

I was thinking about robot wars the other day too, but then I got distracted by a different anime I started watching.
