Fakku content isn't that great. Sometimes the art is very questionable, barely professional. Beyond that it just seems formulaic and not very stimulating. Fakku books seem to be of a higher quality.

Examples? The magazine content is more rush for time constrains... not like doujinshi, more passable depending on what's needed and books are retouched when they put together the what in the tank. They have more time to make it perfect.
I don't see much barely passing chapters much in the sub vs the other magazines, but every artist has their style of drawing and illustrating. Some are more cartoonist then realistic.
And when i say doujinshi i mean the ones that aren't finished to completion vs the ones that are complete. Sometimes they are still in rough sketch and line art.

It's mostly anatomy that bothers me. The writing doesn't have any finesse or romance either. Just straight to fucking. It's in most of the magazine's.

Depends on the artist for me. There are some artists whose styles I really dislike, but I've discovered many I do like. Not really paying attention to anatomy unless it's the puss or it's really wonky. As for dialogue I don't give a shit because all hentai dialogue is crap with the exception of doujinshi where the translators sometimes retain the personalities of the characters and make it a little more interesting.
Edit: If by writing you mean the plot, then I'd say it's difficult for the artists since a lot of them only seem to have 16-18 pages to deliver. So you have to choose between setting up something somewhat interesting or giving the reader some good porn with a variety of scenes and a variety of sex poses. Personally I prefer the latter. I also think the current 3 magazines Fakku has are mostly vanilla so the content is more based in reality. Pretty sure there are fetish magazines that have fantasy and all that shit which would potentially offer more interesting plots.

Just straight to fucking. It's in most of the magazine's.You get that we/they don't draw the stuff on Fakku right? Whatever the magazines decide to publish is what gets translated. The books are the cream of the crop(artists) and every magazine has their all stars and those working their way up. Most of these people won't be Picasso or van Gogh but there's definitely some diamonds in the rough at the start of their careers. So you get a shot to see them from the very beginning which is kind of interesting if you ask me.

I'm subscribed and I do admit it could be better (more content wise)
There's a few artists that I do like that's already on it here but there's not that much content.
I would like to see work from/ more of:
ShindoL
Asanagi
As109
Yuugiri
Mitiking
Karma Tatsurou
Takahashi Note
Fujiwara
Azuma Tesshin
To name a few

Hopefully we make deals with all of their publishers in the future, as for now I think we've got a solid lineup of magazines.

I wish there was more variety, so far I'm getting notifications so rarely that it's not worth subscribing and I'm already puking from oppai tag.

Don't get me wrong, every now and then I'll load up fakku and be like "Got damn!" But most of the time I just see blobs with nipples and a hole. Like, what's the point of uncensored hentai if I can draw a better vagina. Maybe I'm expecting too much from porn writing but some hentai has given me the feels. Right now I don't subscribe every month.

Is something shitty going on in your life or something because this thread seems out of left field and a bit emotional, not over the top emotional but more than a usual amount; the kind of threads we sometimes get in feedback when people realize we switched to a pay model.

I kinda agree with the fact the subscription is lacking but its mostly due to the artists that are just starting out and there are some good ones in there but not enough and the lack of other big name artists doesn't help.
Most writing is garbage compared to books since the amount of work put in is less. I do wish they would get more variety but it depends on them seeing as it has been proven that other genres can be more popular than what fakku originally intended with vanilla.

I'm not bothered by fakku switching to a pay site. It was probably the best thing that could have happened to the site and artists and I can get free porn elsewhere. You may be right about my life affecting my opinion of the magazines, but I still think there's a bit of truth to it.

Honestly, haven't read enough of either to say anything of value...But in general the books do catch my interest more.

Fakku doesn't have control on what content is being released, that's Wani's Job, the only legit complaint for Fakku subs if you have one would be related to the Translation/editors.
when I was just reading Magazine raws from Sadpanda, I usually skip these newer artist and always jump to the more established/favorite ones.
But with Fakku, now I'm adding more to my read list:
-Kazuma Muramasa
-Mutsutake
-Ishikawa Shisuke
-sumiya
-Sugaishi
-Chobipero
-Kamishiro Ryu
-Misa Wasabi
-Fujimaru
-etc
In your case you just have to deal with it yourself, either broaden your tastes or stick to your guns and read what you like.

It's really just an observation. I can always find what I want on Ex.Supposedly none of the Fakku books remain on EX for very long.

You got to realize that part of the reason why you get a variety is because the magazines present a variety as well.
In 'free' hentai websites, the reason you don't notice it is because they tend to try and pull only what's considered the best of the best and not necessarily everything. If they do put anything up, you're not likely to read it because it doesn't necessarily fit with what you want.
Fakku is doing several different magazines. That means their content includes some of the better artists, but it also includes any of the upcoming or newbie artists that the magazine has.
So yes, you do get chapters from artists that aren't so good. Some draw the sex features badly because they are censored in the main market that they go into, so it's not worthwhile to them to focus their attention on them first.
But you also get the rare gems as well that pop up that you wouldn't have seen because they aren't "the in" ones. And it might be years before people start to go "Hey, they're pretty good."
You also get consistent chapters that would routinely get removed from other sites due to copyright issues.
