After a long drawn out farewell party for one of my sons (Marine going to Korea after two tours of Iraq)
I woke up with a horrendous hangover
As I reached for the extra strength excedrin I had a thought
You have to feel sorry for people that don't drink
When they wake up in the morning?
Thats as good as they are going to feel all day

I don't drink, and for me going to bed is a much better feeling than waking up in the morning. Although waking up in the afternoon is a close second. Oh and masturbation beats both of those moments.

I do not see the relation between the stuff you said. And I also don't understand the question.

What do you expect from somebody who gets pleasure from hangovers in the morning?

The point is, since you don't drink you will never have a hangover. Therefore you will wake up feeling fine. However, if you do drink then you have the chance to recover from your hangover - so the oppurtunity of your mood improving during the day exist since you are not yet at your best. That is the punchline. It is flawed logic so it seems funny.

I don't drink, yet I found the logic in that strangely appealing. Sounds pretty good to me. There are days I really wish I wasn't so anti-alcohol. Like right now for a matter of fact, I could SO go for a drink.
