Just started playing FFXIII the other day and yes, Hope is a horrible character. The rest of the cast seem OK, at least in the context of FFVIII, FFX and FFX-2, but with Hope, it feels like they dropped some faggot from Kingdom Hearts into the mix. At least, as opposed to Kingdom Hearts and FFVIII, the emo little shit is actually a little kid who's meant to be kind of dumb rather than the hero of the game. Also, there really should be some doujinshi with Hope's mom in.

He's a retarded character, but intentionally so I think. Same as how Vanille is irritating for the first two thirds of the game.

The best thing to do in FFXIII is position Snow by Hope when they are walking together and drop your controls for a minute, and watch Hope get bored and start gently air-thrusting in Snow's direction and Snow pounding his fists at Hope menacingly.

This is great but I want to see one in the semi-far future where Hope is more grown up, say 17 or 18. He was hands down my favorite character in the game, I started off thinking he was a wuss but thats kinda the point. No one matures as much as Hope during the course of the game. I could go into detail but I don't want to spoil too much. Anywho this is a step in the right direction...

Snow/Lightning doujins really need to happen, I mean hey if your THAT happened to your girlfriend then I think the best and most logical course of action is to move on and start fucking the brains out of her equally hot sister.
