With 3D done now, Versus 13 and the very-distant KH3 are the only things Nomura's working on now. I swear, if he doesn't shift his attention to Versus properly now, I'm gonna flip some tables.

Also, just to let you know, this is a fan-made song, by some French chick. Definitely managed to capture Shimomura's style.

I have seen a fair deal of footage for this game and I fail to see how it has anything to do with the previous FF13 installments or how its a versus game. I think they should just change it to FF15

The Versus was just some special title to it. Probably something happens in the game that makes use of the term's original meaning (most likely how Noct and Stella have to fight against each other, probably reluctantly).

As for the 13 part, the game actually has some links to crystals and gods/goddesses (Nomura says it's the other side of the mythology of FF13 and 13-2). And no, this technically wouldn't do well as FF15, because this isn't really a Final Fantasy game in terms of gameplay. If anything, it's a grittier version of Kingdom Hearts (it's not the main FF team working on this; it's the KH team).
