Paper or Plastic?

I usually go to trader joes for some free samples, but I just bought a bunch of random stuff. Then I was asked paper or plastic? It was a hard choice, but I have chosen plastic because I can most likely re-use it, and I will havemore of those, which will be used for world domination.Which one you would of chose, and why?

Usually just ask for plastic because it's less of pain than holding paper bags.

Doesn't matter to me it works like this, light products goes into plastic. Heavier products goes into paper.

Next year there be no plastic in California. That is actually good news.
OT: I'd choose paper if I could but up here in Lumberjack Land we only have plastic and I always seem to gather a collection of plastic bags that just lay on the floor until I decide to throw them away.

So that's what it means.
Being in Merry ol' England where we don't use that phrase, I always thought it referred to paying by cash or card.

Don't have the plastic option in my hometown anymore. I go plastic usually but prefer paper.

I tend to use plastic bags a lot, so I get those in order to stock up on them for when I need them.

I seriously (when ever i remember) bring my own plastic bags to grocery stores. That might be the only environmentally friendly thing about me.

Not really. Would require you to have those hipster gay old lady bags that cost 5 bucks a bag in your vehicle all the time just encase you go to CVS for beer or ice. Paper will also be gone here too or at least 25 cents a bag like the coast or SF. I re use them for garbage and storage of shit and recycle them. Plus the ones here are so shitty they become dust in dirt in a few months. It's better to require the plastic to be made of biodegradable corn or soybean. IM GOING BACK TO BOXES LIKE MY YOUTH. Or find better bags that don't scream i like cock and ride a bike just because i can and not because im broke.
