RANT!

I don't care if Myanimelist has nothing to do with Fakku. I feel like complaining somewhere, and it does no good to complain about MAL on MAL because the staff get all pissy, rude and defensive.

MAL is a nice site to keep track of your anime and manga and just chat on forums related to such topics and make some good friends. However, I swear MAL is populated by the most incompetent staff members of any site I have ever been on.

I mean it is to be expected that a site will have hiccups now and again, I mean no human or piece of equipment is perfect so minor problems will always happen, but MAL takes the cake. There is ALWAYS something wrong with that site. Either their avatar system is delayed or just not updating, the statistics stop updating, signatures stop updating, messages stop coming through or are glitched, history gets deleted, or even just simple coding errors all over the site. I mean what the fuck? There is absolutely no excuse for everything to seemingly go wrong at once.

Yes I know people have lives, but if you can't devote enough damn time to keep your site running then you need to either give it someone else or just delete it. Offering up a half-assed service is just lazy and pathetic.

I tried to update my avatar on MAL from my kitty avatar 2 months ago... It never went through. So I still have that cat, and I don't know what happened to the avatar I wanted to use.
