Uh, depends; if I'm in the Anime and Manga section and it is something I plan on reading/watching then no. Otherwise I usually do open spoilers out of curiosity, especially member signatures.

Spoiler tags are regularly used for "tl;dr" posts, or quotes. Or SURPRISES.
And of course, for spoilers. But people usually warn when it's really anime/game/whattever spoilers.

Most all of the time. It's always important to read what other people have to say unless it's a spoiler with a wall of text inside. Then I avoid it like the plague.
