The Brexit still hasn't happened yet?!

The UK hasn't officially left the EU yet. I guess I'm pretty out of the loop.

EU is trying to rush them but the UK is taking their time to get the deal they want. Since the UK has more leverage then the EU, the EU is playing hardball.

*Sigh* UK isn't "taking their time" and doesn't have any leverage, country isn't thrown out of EU within days because it would be left without trading deals and agreements thus have economy completely destroyed as UK is far cry from being self sufficient.

Leaving UE is a big political process which first require country to have laws which allow triggering of Article 50 after which UK will have 2 years to negotiate deals with EU and that involves giving less bargaining power to leaving country, if it fails to finish negotiations before 2 years mark country will be left with nothing and royally fucked. Currently 2 years mark is planned for 29.03.19.

It's more like this. If anything it's Brexiteers which include some Tories that have tried to rush it.
The EU want us to stay. At first they tried forcing us to do so by claiming that we couldn't, but have since become open to dialogue.
This whole thing has now flared up Scotland's wish for independence again because they majority-voted to stay in the EU, but as part of the UK they'll be forced to leave. I think they're in talks to hold another referendum.
