Don't know dude. A lot of shows don't even have/get an ending, even a shitty one, even though they ought to...
They think "make a few ovas with different endings" and it'll work. How the fuck can we relate to more than one ending? Fucking mercantilists.

Now that I think about it, that's correct. They are trying hard to copy the essence of the original material, but some details would be lost and would lead to that kind of ending.


Now I want to see what series could disprove this :

Speaking of crappy endings, I hope they do a remake of Gantz one day.

There are anime out there that ended allready despite the fact the the manga they're based on are still ongoing.
Most of them keep an "open" ending, so if they get lucky it could continue with a second season.
Some shows didn't have that changce despite how awesome it would have been. *khmtoradorakhm*
