What the hell happened to Hentaigroup?

I dearly miss a search function for the forums, so I apologize in advance in case this topic has already been discussed.

Honestly, does anyone know anything about Hentaigroup?
Besides FAKKU, the only hentai related website I regularily check are the Hentaipalm forums.
I think it's already been over a week, but in any case said forums seem to have vanished, along with its main network www.hentaigroup.com.
I do remember having glanced upon a thread that appeared to be an annoucement for server maintenance or something of that sort. But I don't really know whether or not said announcement was actually something recent or not. It could have very well been old news from over several months ago for all I know, since I didn't bother reading that news and didn't check the date of the post.
The Hentaipalm main page (which oddly does still exist) hasn't been updated since January so I'm pretty damn confused right now. It would be sad to lose one of the biggest hentai archives in existence without at least knowing what actually happened to it.

Well FAKKU can't be really compared to the gigantic archive forums that is the hentaipalm forums. I frequent those for finding stuff or just for checking the massive amount of content (of any sort) which increases dramatically faster than on here (or anywhere else for that matter).
FAKKU - for me at least - is more or less a youtube sort of thing, in a sense that I read something on here so I can read the comments afterwards. Yes, for me the best thing about reading mangas / doujins on FAKKU is definitely the comment section derp.

People don't use fakku for manga they use it for the forums.

Interesting, they've been around for a really long time so I would be surprised to see them just vanish. I'll post again in this thread if I find out anything.

Main website is still fine but i get an 403 forbidden when I try to enter the forums? Perhaps I need to register?

I left hentaipalm when they tried to make me pay money to see a bigger pic than thumbnail size. After all I knew they didn't make the pic so why are they charging me xD

The main "selling point" was its forums which was a HUGE archive where you could find pretty much everything that was not banned content, so you could always visit one single website to find specific hentai and not search through 4 or 5 different ones each dedicated to some types / forms of content only.
Also on the forums everything is ofc free, nothing compared to the main page which was connected to the Hentaikey network (which sucks obviously). The 403 thing is the main problem I have right now, you don't need to register or anything, the forums are just GONE as of now.

The forums seem to be back, or at least online although not fully running. They seem to have had some issues with the server transfer.
